With over six years of technical experience, including co-founding a startup that reached the Tech Nation Rising Stars finals, I've learned that the best solutions come from understanding both the technology and the business. Ed Picciano Moss - Data & Operations Consultant
I worked as an analyst for over seven years in the Financial Services sector, across many departments including investments, finance, M&A, IT, operations and data.
I now specialise in solutions that combine my data and operations backgrounds to embed best practices into everyday workflows. I enjoy helping those who feel their data is out of control, are unable to gain proper insights from the data they do have or need automation to streamline inefficient processes.
Our Background
We have a breadth of experience across industries, with highlights including construction of customised predictive models and automated complex workflows. But we wanted to do more than optimise existing systems — we wanted to build solutions from scratch.
That led Ed Brown to co-found Appally, where as CTO he developed their custom machine learning algorithm, developed the SaaS application and secured funding through the prestigious Bethnal Green Ventures accelerator. Ed Picciano Moss developed a number of data and operation skills through-out his time working for multiple companies and building systems from scratch and optimising internal processes.
These experiences taught us how to move fast, build smart, and deliver results on realistic budgets—skills we now bring to every client project.
What we do Now
Today, we run EB Data & AI Solutions, where we partner with businesses to create custom AI-powered automation, complete software applications, and data integration systems. Ed still advises Appally on technical strategy, but his focus is helping other growing businesses transform their operations through intelligent technology.
